In a diligent search to find a jewelry making class, I stumbled on the Smithsonian Resident Associate Program. It’s a shame that I’ve lived here for over six years and I’m just now coming across this awesome continuing education program. On average, classes meet eight times a “semester” with offerings ranges from A Guide to Travel Photography, Beginning Oil Painting to Tai Chi: Moving Meditation. You can sign up for a class without membership or pay a mere $35 annual fee and receive several perks (including class discounts). There are sooo many options and how cool is it to take a class at the Smithsonian!!?? I will definitely be signing up to one in the near future.
